Are You Thinking Of Buying Property In Costa Rica?

Costa Rica Vacation Realty is located in the area of Flamingo which is along the Northern Pacific shores of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We specialize in residential and commercial property sales as well as long and short-term rentals. We can also manage your property for you if you choose to use your home as a vacation rental. We are close to many pristine beaches such as Playa Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Playa Conchal, Playa Potrero, Playa Penca, Playa Las Catalinas, and many more.

Costa Rica is a country filled with nature. More than a quarter of the country's land consists of national parks, wildlife refuges, and biological reserves. With the many rainforests, jungles, exotic animals, gorgeous pristine beaches, and volcanoes, it will not be difficult to call this country home (or your second home).

If you are thinking of purchasing property in Costa Rica and don't know where to start, you have come to the right place. The first thing I suggest is that you contact a realtor in the area where you would like to live. If you do not know where you would like to live then, visit Costa Rica and the many Provinces that line this beautiful country. Are you looking to live close to beaches, and restaurants or simply enjoy the rainforests? Whatever your desires are, you will be able to find it in Costa Rica; the land of Paradise.

When you arrive in Costa Rica, one of our professional experienced real estate agents will discuss with you the location in which you wish to purchase a property. You will be asked about your budget for purchasing, the type of home you are looking for, and any other important information you would like to discuss.

Once you have found the right property, our realty agent will prepare the Purchase and Sale Agreement which will be presented to the Seller. Once the offer is accepted, you will have to make a deposit of approximately 10% into an Escrow agent's account. We recommend that you hire a home inspector and topographer. The home inspector will be able to point out certain flaws and/or repairs necessary to be made within the interior and exterior of your home. The topographer will be focusing more on the surveying of the property.

The closing date for real estate in Costa Rica is usually 30, 60, or 90 days from acceptance of the offer. Now, that you are a property owner; if you decide to rent your property, our company will be able to assist you in the management and rental of your property. Many homeowners rent their properties to either short-term or long-term renters, earning them a high return on their investment. Whether you decide to live in your home or rent it to vacationers, you will not regret making that decision in such a beautiful country.

We are here to assist and guide you throughout the process.
